GIA SAS (Hi) !! My name is Alexia and I am a qualified official tour guide and driver for 30 years now. I am a Cypriot and my family’s story and adventures really expand all over Cyprus! I was born and raised in Nicosia, Cyprus’s capital but I come from a little village in the occupied area of the island and for the past 30 years, I have been residing with my own family in Paphos.

As a child I was always charmed by the rich history of this tiny Meditteranean island I call home and loved the mini-trips we would take as a family in different parts of the country, learning about the history of each place, trying delicacies and meeting the locals. As I grew older my interest grew deeper into a passion. So when it was time to choose a career, my excitement in exploring paired with my outgoing nature and joy in connecting with people were ideally matched with the job of a tour guide! Upon getting qualified as an official tour guide back in 1990, I started touring with large and small groups from all over the world, all over Cyprus.

To this day, I cherish each excursion and each friend I made along the years and I remain excited for the ones to follow! After all, 30 years of experience taught me primarily two things: firstly that I absolutely love this job and secondly that there is always something to (re-)discover in the unmatched cultural (and culinary!) wealth of Cyprus!
